Review + Fix in V0

V0 Build Station - Control Loop. You pass when you review the first version, choose one useful fix, and retest it.

Time: 20-25 min
Best for: improving without rebuilding everything
You create: Review Mirror score + smallest fix prompt
Checkpoint: one issue fixed or safely reverted

What this is

This page teaches control through Review Mirror and the smallest useful fix. You are not trying to perfect the site. You are proving you can inspect, improve, and recover.

Why it matters

Beginners often respond to weak output by asking for a full redesign. That can make the site worse. A small fix keeps the website explainable and protects your progress.

What to do

Step 1: Run the Review Mirror prompt

Copy prompt
Review my current V0 website against my Project Brief and Build Blueprint.

Score it from 1 to 5 for:
- goal match;
- audience clarity;
- mobile layout;
- visual polish;
- content completeness;
- user action.

Then identify only the top 1-2 issues that matter most.

Do not redesign the whole site.
Do not add login, payment, database, dashboard, chatbot, live API, or backend.
Give me the smallest useful fix prompt.

Step 2: Apply only one fix

Choose the fix that improves the first-screen clarity, mobile readability, or main user action. Paste the smallest fix prompt into V0 and wait for the new version.

Step 3: Retest and recover if needed

Reference

After the fix:
[ ] Did the top issue improve?
[ ] Did anything important get worse?
[ ] Can I explain what changed?

If the fix makes the site worse, do not panic-regenerate. Use the previous good version, restore, or ask V0 to revert the last change.

Common mistakes

  • Asking for a redesign when one CTA fix would help.
  • Fixing visual polish before the audience or action is clear.
  • Ignoring mobile after the fix.
  • Regenerating from scratch instead of using versions or revert prompts.
