Vibe 101

Vibe 101 is the SDD Website Build Lab. You use the Vibe SDD Starter Pack in Website mode inside Antigravity. If you cannot install local tools, use Zero to Website as the no-install fallback.

What this is

Vibe 101 teaches you to plan, build, review, and explain a first website with AI. The method is Spec-Driven Development: you save a brief, architecture, design, blueprint, status, and small Work Cards inside your project folder before the AI builds anything.

You work through small, saved gates:

Setup Gate -> Website mode -> Project Brief -> Build Blueprint -> Work Cards -> First Visible Build -> Review/Fix -> Proof

Why it matters

The chat is not the source of truth. The files are.

Saved planning files let you continue after a chat limit, credit limit, model switch, or tutor handoff. Small Work Cards keep the AI from rewriting the whole project in one uncontrolled pass, and keep you able to explain every change.

What to do

Start with the Vibe SDD Starter Pack and choose Website mode.

1. Complete the Setup Gate before planning or installing packages.
2. Let the Blueprint Coach save each planning file phase by phase.
3. Build one Work Card at a time and keep build-status.md current.
4. Review the visible website against the plan and fix one thing.
5. Finish with something you can show and explain in 60 seconds.

Aim for one of these success levels:

Minimum: SDD planning files + first visible website or screenshot + 60-second explanation.
Good: minimum + one Review Mirror fix.
Strong: a GitHub and Vercel URL when time and accounts allow.

Publishing is optional. The shared GitHub and Vercel pages are your strong proof when time and accounts allow.

Common mistakes

• Asking AI to build the whole website instead of following saved Work Cards.
• Starting app code before the planning files exist.
• Adding too many features.
• Continuing when you do not understand the change.
• Treating a live URL as the only valid finish.
