What this is

This is the first generation step. You paste the First Build Prompt from your V0 Prompt Chain, wait for the first version, inspect the preview, and write down what needs attention.

Do not combine first build, fix, and share in one rush. Build first, inspect next, fix later.

Why it matters

The first output is not the finish. It is the first visible draft. If you inspect before prompting again, you stay in control and avoid random rebuilds.

What to do

Step 1: Follow the first-build flow

Open V0 -> Paste First Build Prompt -> Wait for first version -> Inspect preview -> Write top issues -> Stop

Step 2: Inspect the preview

First screen:

[ ] Is the audience obvious?
[ ] Is the main action visible?

Mobile:
[ ] Text is readable.
[ ] Sections are not cramped.
[ ] Main action is still visible.

Scope:

Step 3: Write only the top issues

Common mistakes

• Prompting again without opening the preview.
• Asking for fixes before knowing the top issue.
• Treating the first output as finished.
• Adding backend, login, dashboard, or payment because the UI looks exciting.
